If I want to see Project Runway these days, I have to watch it on Lifetime: Television for Women. That means I have to sit through commercial after commercial for their exclusive made-for-TV movies about abused women, jilted women, enslaved women, and women getting shot in the ear by Joey Buttafuoco's teen mistress, Alyssa Milano. I don't particularly enjoy it.
Well lately I've been seeing commercials for one about Georgia O'Keefe and "the man who inspired her." The man who inspired her? Whaaaat. Give me a break. If you listen carefully, you can hear art students all over the world writing their dissertations on how some flower Georgia O'Keefe painted looks like a vagina and what that says about her being a lesbo.
I'd hate to be the dude that inspired that.
